Join Kalmiopsis Audubon Society tripleader Gary Maschmeyer to kick off this year’s Let’s Go Birding season with an outing to the Rogue River Walk in search of owls. This walk will take place on Saturday, March 16, at 5:45 p.m. Meet at the Gold Beach Visitor's Center (94080 Shirley Ln., Gold Beach).
Wear warm clothes, and bring a flashlight. Rain or windy conditions will postpone this trip, so be sure to sign up with Gary ahead of time so he can keep you posted about any last-minute plan changes (gmasch44@gmail.com).
Meet in Brookings (Azalea Middle School, 505 Pacific Ave) and in Port Orford (PO Coop) at 5 p.m. to carpool to Gold Beach.
