Lecture on Microplastics

Dorothy Horn, a Portland State University doctoral candidate studying plastic pollution in the ocean, will speak about microplastics in the sea and in rivers at the next monthly meeting of the Surfrider Portland Chapter, Tuesday, June 11, 7-9 p.mm. at  UP North Surf Club.

Horn will also show a ten-minute Oregon Public Broadcasting special highlighting microplastics on Oregon rivers.Come join Surfrider Portland Chapter on the second Tuesday of every month to learn about their work and how you can get involved. Surfrider chapter meetings are free and open to all.
