Talk on Climate and the Ocean

Chuck Willer, director of the Coast Range Association, will present a brief talk surveying the impacts of climate change on the ocean at the St. James/Santiago Episcopal Church (2490 N.E. Hwy 101) in Lincoln City on Wednesday, Aug. 14.  His presentation, beginning at 6:30 p.m., is free and open to all.

Willer’s talk will address such topics as the climate-related impacts of sea level rise and ocean acidification and how they will affect coastal communities, and the implications of the “Green New Deal” for the coast.  The session will include plenty of time for questions and discussion.
