The Oregon Ocean Policy Advisory Council’s Rocky Habitat Working Group holds its next meeting on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The meeting may not actually run that long, but sufficient time has been allowed for whatever discussion comes up concerning the state’s newly rocky habitat management strategy. The meeting is remote only. See below for information on how to do this.
The group will discuss the state’s evolving strategy for managing rocky shore habitats, and the upcoming site designation process, through which citizens and community groups will be able to propose levels of protection for particular areas.
For more information, contact Deanna Caracciolo, the state’s rocky shores coordinator, at (503) 956-8163, Deanna.Caracciolo@state.or.us.
