The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition and co-sponsors present a “2020 Virtual Sustainability Town Hall,” intended for all Oregonians, on Wednesday, Aug. 26, noon to 1:15 p.m.  The event is free and open to all, but space is limited and registration is required.

The theme is bold climate action.  Speakers include:

*Kristin Eberhard, Director of Climate Change and Democracy at Sightline Institute, who
will share stories of communities in the US and Europe that are taking bold climate action.

*Johannah Hamilton, Co-leader of the Coalition’s Community Inclusion Action Team, who
will provide a social justice context for the event, speaking about how climate change impacts communities of color.

*Coral Avery, Oregon State University Senior and Climate Change Coordinator for the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians, who will present a call to action.

To register and receive a Zoom line to the virtual event, go here.
