The Climate Impacts Group, based at the University of Washington, is celebrating its 25th year with a series of talks. The CIG, a pioneering effort to study the effects of climate at the local level when it began, studies likely impacts of climate change on the Pacific Northwest.
The second in the series is coming up on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 5-6:30 p.m. The topic is “Building Climate Resilience During Covid-19 Recovery.” National experts on climate impacts, both science and policy, will discuss how we can leverage the period of economic and social recovery following the pandemic to build resilience to climate change.
