The Climate Impacts Group, based at the University of Washington, is celebrating its 25th year with a series of talks.  The CIG, a pioneering effort to study the effects of climate at the local level when it began, studies likely impacts of climate change on the Pacific Northwest.

The final event in the series takes place on Tuesday, March 30, 5-6:30 p.m.  The topic of this panel discussion is “The Next 25 Years:  Building a Climate-Resilient Future,” addressing the question, what do we need to do to prepare our communities, economies and ecosystems for the climate of the future? This event will bring together scientists, community members and partners to imagine, brainstorm and plan for the next 25 years.
