The Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) which scrutinizes scientific questions on behalf of the Ocean Policy Advisory Council (OPAC) and advises on technical matters that underlie ocean policy, is meeting remotely on Thursday, Jan. 28, 9 a.m. to noon.
A draft meeting agenda and supporting materials will soon be available on STAC’s website page.
The meeting can be attended remotely by the public. Details on how to connect can also be found on the website page.
While the agenda has not yet been made public, it is safe to speculate that the upcoming review of the functioning of the state’s marine reserves will be a topic.
