Marine Science Day at the Hatfield Marine Science Center is an annual tradition, which usually involves curious visitors roaming the HMSC complex, peeking into labs, watching demonstrations, hearing talks, and participating in kids’ activities. That can’t happen in the pandemic era, of course, but the next best thing is a virtual Marine Science Day—and that’s coming up on Saturday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The theme is “The Beauty of Science.”
This will be a “choose your own adventure” type of event, with online participants finding their way through a range of offerings. Among other things, this will be a chance to explore the new Marine Studies Building, albeit at a distance. The event is open to the public and free for all.
More details will appear here when they become available. More information can also be found at https://hmsc.oregonstate.edu/marine-science-day.
For now, mark your calendars.
